Pete L. Gonzales will be laid to rest next Tuesday.

The owner of 210 Kapone's was murdered Sunday morning by a patron who was kicked out of the club.

The funeral will be Monday with a viewing from 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a rosary at Porter Loring Mortuary at Interstate 35 and Mcullough. There will be a mass at St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church at 111 Barilla at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Gonzales will be buried at Mission Park South (1700 SE Military Dr.) after the mass.

He was 45.

The San Antonio Police Department hasn't publicly identified a suspect yet, but a police report revealed that the SAPD Gang Unit tentatively identified a suspect. Police have described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 30s.

According to the police report, the suspect rented a VIP room at 210 Kapone's, but was kicked out for creating a disturbance. Gonzales was outside dealing with an unrelated disturbance when the suspect pulled up in a car, stepped out and fired three shots at Gonzales, striking him once in the back and once in the elbow.
