It was a dizzying week for news.

A local TV station pulled back the curtain on the spending habits of two former CPS Energy honchos, and actor Matthew McConaughey revealed he was really just putting us on when it came to his ambitions to run the state.



But in the end, it was the upbeat story of a San Antonio couple's over-the-top Christmas light display — in Windcrest, where else? — winning a TV contest that garnered the most views from Current readers this week.
