The event might not take place for another month, but tickets have officially gone on sale to the public for the Gruene Music & Wine Festival.
The GMWF will feature four wine and music events starting October 10 at The Grapevine with "Not From Texas" a kick-off event featuring New World & German wines, live jazz music and The Mavericks. "Rockin' With Texas Wine and Food" on October 11 will be catered by the Gristmill River Restaurant and will feature music by Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell.
The weekend will be filled with Texas Tastings and Tunes on October 12 from noon to 6 p.m. where guests can sample over 90 different Texas wines from over 30 different wineries, and food from Fork in the Road, Institute of Chili, Where’s That Truck and Winner Winner Chicken Dinner at Le Cordon Gruene haute food trucks and music by Los Lonely Boys. The festival will end with a Texas Style Music Fest on October 13 with events like Gospel Brunch with a Texas Twist, food trucks at the Grapevine Grounds and eight hours of Texas music at Gruene Hall from 2 to 10 p.m.
