Guess Who Megachurch Pastor John Hagee Is Going to Vote For

What better way is there for San Antonio megachurch Pastor John Hagee to usher in the apocalypse than to urge his followers to vote for Donald Trump, a New York City real estate mogul bent on "making America great again."

Hagee never says The Donald's name, but as the pastor says in his YouTube video, if you've read a newspaper lately, you know who he is talking about.

So why would a Christian pastor advocate for Trump?

"I'm going to vote for the candidate who is going to make the U.S. military great again," Hagee says.

Nothing says forgiveness like perpetuating the endless American war machine, for Jesus said, crush thine enemies with multi-million-dollar killing machines. He then goes on to claim, without naming President Barack Obama, that during the last seven years, the administration has failed the country, making it weak and vulnerable to attack. He says America was weak when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, and now is no different.

"I'm going to vote for the party that is going to solve the immigration problem, not the one that has created the immigration problem," Hagee says.

For Jesus said, give no shelter to immigrants fleeing extreme violence and poverty. Thou must build a giant wall to keep them out.

"I'm going to support the party that brings jobs back from China," he says, before explaining that he is not going to vote for the party that has "betrayed Israel for the last seven years."

While he never says the names of any politicians involved in the White House or the presidential race, Hagee lays it on his followers here:

"If you can read a newspaper, you know who I am talking about," Hagee says.

He closes by asking God to give the country a president who will have the courage to put America first and "stand up for we the people."

If Hagee's lucky, Trump will get elected and bring his apocalypse just a little closer to reality with the ol' war machine the good pastor loves.
