Halloween Spooktacular: Masquerade

To keep the trick in trick or treat, the San Antonio Symphony’s annual Halloween Spooktacular keeps it fresh with a different theme (because who wears the same costume every year?), and this year’s theme is Masquerade. As an ode to masks, a Halloween hallmark that keeps the holiday spooky and mysterious, the symphony promises us selections from Star Wars and Phantom of the Opera, but the one-hour long treat has plenty of inspirational — and chilling — scores to pull from, including Friday the 13th and Halloween.
