Heatwave III

Spanning seven days and featuring numerous performers, most of whom have official SXSW showcases this year, Heat Wave III continues through Sunday with a slew of acts from punk, post-punk, and weirdo-indie shit. “Our whole goal is to make it that people don’t really need to go to Austin,” said Ryan Brummett, Paper Tiger's talent buyer and operations manager. “We’re gonna bring all the bands to Paper Tiger, and people can buy one ticket and just go every day.” Here’s everything to look forward to this week: Wednesday - Cro-Mags, Ed Schrader’s Music Beat, Drab Majesty, Part Time; Thursday - Night Drive, Spine; Friday - Sports, The Buttertones, De Lux; Saturday - The Coathangers, Broncho, Public Access T.V.; Sunday - the Dwarves, U.S. Girls, Everything is Terrible.
