“History and Education Day”

The San Antonio Living History Association, in partnership with the World Heritage Office Spanish Governors Palace, invites you to a special Tricentennial event for “History and Education Day” during Commemorative Week. The Spanish Governor’s Palace will recreate the 1700s period with living history interpreters, music, documents, maps, artifacts, arms and early demonstrations. SALHA hosts the 1718 San Antonio Founding Families and Descendants and the Spanish Culture and Heritage Society to tell the story of the Spanish soldiers who served in the Presidio San Antonio de Béjar and their families.
