The Science Mill’s monthly Homeschool Day this month focuses on careers in coding. In hands-on activities, students will be scientists at Mission Control and “drive” the NASA Rover, code their own adventures in Minecraft and try the Harry Potter and the Magic of Coding challenge. Age-based Learning Labs include a coding obstacle course, Scratch animation and designing and coding an app to control EZ Robot. Homeschool activities will run 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and the museum will be open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Plus, students can explore the museum’s 50+ unique exhibits and see “Incredible Predators 3D”.
