Jack Ingram, Jon Randall

An early start to the yule season need not include Grandma’s tales of St. Nick or sub-par carol singing. Texas singer-songwriter Ingram’s acoustic holiday tour will feature songs from his eighth album Midnight Motel, which was written in part in the wee hours after his kids were put to bed in an effort to “bring people into that space with me.” Fellow Texan Randall, who produced Ingram’s LP, will open the show. Randall launched his career as the guitarist for Emmylou Harris’ Nash Ramblers back when he was just 20.
