Jimmy James Canales Para Chrome

The Presa House Pop Up series continues with a presentation of new works by artist Jimmy James Canales opening October 6 through October 29, 2017 at Flight Gallery in the Blue Star Arts Complex. "Para Chrome" is Canales' first solo exhibition since his Artpace Window Works project in 2014. Canales' exhibition will feature an immersive installation, video works and a performance in his custom-made chrome mirror suit. The opening reception will be held from 6 to Midnight on First Friday October 6 featuring music by Jason PopGuy Ibarra. In addition, Presa House will be hosting a Halloween costume closing reception on Saturday, October 28 featuring a musical performance by psychedelic-country-punk-pop band Snowbyrd and DJ El Gato Scott Kimrey. Gallery hours by appointment after opening reception.
