There has yet to be a bad concert held on the Artpace rooftop, and this Luminaria kick-off promises to be the most intriguing yet. Joe Jack Talcum of ’80s alternative rock band The Dead Milkmen headlines. Having written a song called “Taco Land” he is sure to get a warm welcome. Krista L.L. Muir and her Fauxvarian alter ego Lederhosen Lucil (a “master of baritone ukulele strumming,” whatever that means) will also perform. Popular local DJ Jester to open. Free, doors open at 7pm, Artpace, 445 N. Main Ave, (210) 212-4900.
