Brackenridge Park Conservancy is hosting an open house for the community to tour and discuss the future of the park, as noted in their Cultural Landscape Report, on November 6. Special giveaways, food, and FREE musical performances will be happening during the open house between 10:00 a.m and 2:00 p.m. Food trucks onsite will donate a portion of proceeds from sales supporting the revitalization of the park. Trumpeter Jerrold Feigenbaum will be performing at 11:00 a.m. near the entrance of the Japanese Tea Garden and accordionist Santiago Jiménez Jr. will perform at 1:00 p.m. near the Joske Pavilion.
