Justin Timberlake And Jimmy Fallon Wrap the SNL Christmas Package: 3 Special Snips

I am no die-hard fan of Saturday Night Live, but I am a die-hard fan of Justin Timberlake on SNL — ever since “Dick in a Box.”  So, I made a point to watch last night’s "Saturday Night Live Christmas Special," perfectly packaged with JT and host Jimmy Fallon. These three scenes had me splitting and spitting out my Colorado Bull Dog.

Bringing It On Down To Wrappingville!

I was actually wrapping Christmas presents for my kids, and debating on which paper my daughter would believe came from Santa’s workshop, when this bit opened the show. I would have hired that duo on the spot to wrap for me. Roll out!

(Do It On My) Twin Bed

“Let’s take it back, yall!” Here is a shining moment in women’s comedic performances for this year; it’s supported by Jimmy Fallon. Buzzfeed praises this rump-shaker as the new Holiday anthem. I am certainly adding it to my after-hours holiday music rotation, right along with the classic “Dick in a Box.”

The Barry Gibb Talk Show

This was surreal — and not due to Madonna’s cameo and Instagram. The actual Barry Gibb himself joins the closing song and dance, right next to JT impersonating Robin, Barry’s now-deceased brother.

In addition to a winning stab as Jimmy Fallon in a “Family Feud” skit, Justin also performed “Only When I Walk Away” (in a laser cage) and “Pair of Wings.”  It’s a sneak peak of what’s to come this August at the AT&T Center. Count me one excited ticketholder — me along with my mother-in-law.
