Oh snap! According to The Fader, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, L Boogie herself is embarking on a tour in which she will play through the entirety of the the record that garnered her 10 Grammy nominations – five of which she won.

The 29-stop tour launches on July 5 in Virginia Beach before wrapping up in St. Louis on October 5th.

Ms. Hill rolled through the Alamo City back in November 2016 (we all know how long ago that was), but this time the singer’s only Texas stops – so far? – are in Sugar Land on September 29 and Irving on September 30.

If you’ve been to a Lauryn Hill show in the past decade or so, you know that she doesn’t exactly play the songs like they sound on the record. They’re either sped up so fast that they don’t sound like the same song or the songs are just completely rearranged.

There’s speculation on the internet about whether or not she owns the rights to her music, which may be why she has changed up her songs so much when she performs live, but nothing has actually been confirmed about that issue.

If you’re a Lauryn Hill fan like us and are planning on venturing to Sugarland or Irving to watch one of the most revered artists alive perform arguably one of the best hip-hop albums of all time, hopefully her show will sound more like the record this go around. If not, we still love you, Lauryn.
