Line, Voice, Story: Let the Poetry of Larry Levis Be Our Guide
Take a deep dive into the poetry of Larry Levis, reading in community and writing in response together. In this weekly workshop, participants read aloud together for the first hour and in the second hour, write independently. Participants will receive supplemental materials weekly, including a mix of writing prompts, essays, interviews and links for further reading. In the final meeting, participants will celebrate and share all of their newly generated work.
The workshop is designed for participants to become intimately familiar with the poetry of Larry Levis, and to see how his work changed throughout his life.
