Local Music Week Music & Media Mixer

I know most of you probably have no idea what Local Music Week actually is – it’s a considerably vague description. Simply put, from June 12 to 18, in an effort to give SA numerous opportunities to get out and experience some of the best and worst in the city’s music scene, participating bars and venues will showcase bills stacked with local talent. The music and media mixer, specifically, will take place at Co Lab, a new co-working space at 723 N. Alamo St., and will provide a chance to network and socialize with representatives involved in the San Antonio music scene, including the media, music-oriented businesses and organizations. DJs Donnie Dee, Jester the Filipino Fist and Chacho will be spinning all night long. So, take this opportunity to brush up on your local band knowledge; who sucks, who rules, who should be blowing up and who just blows.
