Word on the street this fall was that
Aldo Ristorante was moving its long-standing Wurzbach Road location north.
But given the holidays and the need to accommodate guests, the move has been postponed until the new year.
“We have many long-time customers who rely on us for parties and family gatherings during the holidays,” said owner Aldo Ghaffari in a press release sent earlier this week. “To help them preserve their holiday traditions, we have chosen to stay at our Fredericksburg Road location through the month of December.”
The Italian staple will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve offering the regular menu and will be closed on Christmas day, and will offer open seating from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. by reservation on a first-come, first-served basis for New Year's Eve.
“We have many customers who always spend New Year’s Eve with us and we look forward to continuing this tradition,” said Ghaffari.
The restaurant will open at its new location, 22211 IH-10 W. in Dominion Ridge, on January 7, 2019.
