The San Antonio Zoo just published an adorable video on YouTube showing a baby Matschie's Tree Kangaroo that was born last August starting to become curious about what is outside its mother's pouch.

The zoo calls the birth a huge accomplishment because the Matschie's Tree Kangaroo is an endangered species with fewer than 2,500 left in the wild.

According to National Geographic, the Matschie's Tree Kangaroo is only found in rain forests in Australia, West Papua and Papua New Guinea — some of the last undisturbed habitat in the world.
