The low-cost airline announced Thursday they will soon offer San Antonians direct flights to Albuquerque, Charlotte, Cleveland, Columbus, Jacksonville, Fla., Memphis, Oklahoma City, Omaha, and Tulsa.
The additions make Denver-based Frontier the largest carrier in San Antonio for direct flights, totaling 23 cities. Frontier already provides service to Atlanta, Cincinnati, Colorado Springs, Denver, Las Vegas, New Orleans, San Diego, San Jose, Ontario, Calif., Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh-Durham and Washington Dulles.
Flights to the new cities will begin in mid-August.
