Luminaria Cancelled; Muertos Fest Called Off for Saturday — Not Sunday

Update, noon: Muertos Fest is cancelled for today. However, organizers say Sunday is a go. 

Organizers say Los Masters Plus and Master Blaster Sound System will play at The Mix at 9 p.m., followed by La Trinidad and Grupo Frackaso. There will be free tacos from Taco Cabana at 7 p.m. and later El Milagro at 11 p.m., organizers say.

Because of heavy rain and flash flooding across the city, Luminaria is cancelled, the city announced in a two-sentence press release Saturday morning.

On Instagram, Muertos Fest announced that all activities are postponed until 1 p.m., and that Sunday should go on as normal.
