Nuevo Tecalitlan Mariachi and recent winners from the Mariachi Extravaganza will perform at the Intl. Trumpet Guild's MARIACHI MADNESS on May 31 at 7:30pm at the Lila Crockrell Theater. The phenomenal, Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán, is from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The 15 member group has recorded more than 60 albums in the past five decades and has performed in the U.S. and Latin America. The exceptional musical director is Fernando Martinez, former vocalist and violinist from Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán. Additional performances from Mariachi Escandon , Mariachi Cascabel and Mariachi Plata, Melanie Olivares and Deborah Carrillo-Barquero.
