A lunchtime matinee, sponsored by Artpace and Sip coffee shop, presents “100 Bankrupt Corporations” (Or was it “Popular Geometry?” Only the artist knows for sure.), in which Vidokle abstracts commercial logos and applies them to the vacant Lack’s furniture building. Sunday movies at the Instituto presents Kieslowski’s Ten Commandments-inspired masterpiece, one Sunday at a time. Exploring conflict in family relationships, Thou Shalt Not Steal tells the story of a biological mother who kidnaps a child from a stable and loving family, then realizes she is emotionally unable to cope with the responsibility. 4 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at the Instituto de Mexico, 600 Hemisfair Park.
