TEAMWORK between mentors and children makes positive change happen.
"Mentor Wonders" is a newly-written drama about public school volunteers, funded in part by the City of San Antonio's Department of Arts & Culture. During Orientation, mentors talk about shared activities. Opinions, about lockdown drills and different, fun activities, generate poetic daydreams. When an AMBER Alert sounds, they realize the abducted child is a mentee they know. This shocking situation changes the lives of the boy and his mentor. Work-in-Progress video - what is that? After many weeks of online cast rehearsals, video footage was rough-edited into a version of the finished play. The writer needs feedback via an online questionnaire about storyline and structure.
