Meredith Dean Walk in the Woods

Meredith Dean, A Walk in the Woods, includes drawings of walking and trekking in the woods, mountains and valleys of the Casentino Region of central Italy that has fueled her work and imagination for over 25 years. The ancient landscape reveals the order and turbulence of nature and time on the well-worn earth that is constantly being changed by natural and man-made forces. Discoveries and mysteries are hidden in this land that is rich in history from pre-historic times through the Etruscans, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and up to contemporary Italian life.
