Mindful self-compassion is an eight week training program based on the groundbreaking research of Dr. Kristin Neff. It supports the development of courageous attitudes enabling us to stand up to harm, especially the harm we unwittingly inflict on ourselves through self-criticism, self-isolation or self-absorption. Why do you want to raise self-compassion? Because it's associated with amazing outcomes:
lower depression stress and anxiety,
improved creativity and innovation,
improved interpersonal relationships,
stronger resilience in the face of struggle or suffering, and
better success at changing health habits.
