Presented by the Texas Butterfly Ranch, the Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival takes place during peak Monarch migration week in San Antonio, when all the Monarch butterflies east of the Rocky Mountains funnel through Texas on their way to Mexico to roost for the winter. Following a theme of Butterflies without Borders, the fest fuses science, education, art and celebration into three days of events hosted between the San Antonio Botanical Garden, the Witte Museum, Yanaguana Garden, Mexican Cultural Institute and the Pearl.
