Motograter & Terror Universal

Definitely falling onto the nu-metal end of the hard rock spectrum, Austin’s Motograter do the genre better than most. While it’s definitely not the coolest style of hard rock right now, after becoming overdone through the late ’90s and early aughts, Motograter manage to add some interesting elements and dynamics to the genre, throwing in unexpected transitions, vocal harmonies and double-bass to keep shit changing up through their songs. Also on the bill are nu-metal counterparts Terror Universal. Rumored to feature current and former members of Machine Head, Soulfully, Upon a Burning Body and ILL Nino, Terror Universal are a masked quartet that make music that appeals to fans of Slipknot and Pantera.

Chicken-on-a-Stick
Fiesta favorite chicken-on-a-stick is basically the supreme food booth snack from all of Fiesta. San Antonians look forward to eating it all year, and usually commemorate their first chicken-on-a-stick of the season with a selfie. It’s inspired chicken-on-a-stick necklaces, earrings, stickers and more from local designers, and has appeared on menus across SA so folks can get their fix. Thank goodness for that.
