Natural Child

Natural Child is unapologetic. No, not like an in-your-face metal band. They don’t throw down political messages with their lyrics. They just speak frankly. These dudes have a nonchalant, laid-back and groovy sound, with equally lackadaisical lyrics like, “Sure is nice to have a place to sit / You can leave me alone while I’m taking a shit.” All the while, you’re still swaying along to music that’s as nonchalant as their words. Whatever strange, name-drop hybrid you want to compare them to (Dylan, Stones, Stooges, and even Willie, to name a handful), they couldn’t care less. And by the time they’ve trapped you in their slow-burn groove, you couldn’t care less, either. With Faux Ferocious and the Rich Hands.
