Four more states have reported E. coli food poisoning linked to an ongoing investigation by the CDC.
This spring, an E. coli outbreak affecting growers in Yuma, Ariz., led to massive recalls on romaine lettuce, which is primarily grown in that region. To date, 29 states have the reported food poisoning of 149 people with 64 hospitalizations.
