Brigid
Be one of the first people to check out Brigid's newly announced menu. The three-course $35 dinner includes choice of ratatouille soup or wild boar bourguignon; half-roasted chicken and potatoes or mussels with bacon and pomme frites; and chocolate cake with caramel kettle corn or tres leches cake.
803 S. St. Mary’s St., 210-263-7885.
Sukeban
At just several month's old, Sukeban is adding sushi to the #SARW offerings. Stop in for choice of red miso soup, seaweed salad or edamame; choice of two between sashimi, the spicy Culinaria roll, Southtown roll or white Alaskan roll; and finally New York cheesecake with honey green tea sauce.
1420 S. Alamo St., (210) 562-3231.
The Well
Want a little dance with your dinner? The Well can make that happen. I can't stress reservations for this restaurant enough, as seemingly most of the 1604/I-10 corridor has found a refuge in The Well. Go for a dinner where you'll choose from the Little Bexar salad, German-style soft pretzel, Texas torpedoes (deep-fried, chorizo-stuffed jalapeños) or twice-cooked wings; and cast iron chicken-fried steak, three-chili-rubbed brisket and house-made sausage, or Bock battered fish n' chips; and end the night with either Texas Ranger bread pudding or daily donuts.
