It's the sixth season of the post-ironic sketch comedy starring Sleater-Kinney's Carrie Brownstein and SNL alum Fred Armisen already! The first episode premireMaybe someone's pregnant. Maybe somebody gets a man-bun. Maybe somebody develops a man-bun-cutting drone. Maybe Danzig gets drunk with Fred Armisen. I don't know, like you, I haven't seen it yet.

But I have seen the trailer and if laughing at hipsters is your thing – or laughing – then this is your mafk'in thing. I, personally, enjoy the show because it assuages my hipster guilt to be able to poke fun at mustache-having, indie-band-loving, sailor-tattooed folks, like myself. We're all just looking for some authenticity anyway, baby.

If Pitchfork or Vice didn't tell you about it already, here's the trailer for the unholiest numbered season of Portlandia, until they get to season 666.

And support local hipsters.

Below is a Season Six synopsis with Brownstein and Armisen.
