Blending second-wave emo in the vein of Mineral and Elliott Smith, Noah Harris is an incredible songwriter who deserves attention. Although there’s an emotive vibe throughout Harris’ catalog, you can hear some Beatles influence and early rock ’n’ roll textures in his songwriting. The vibe is genuine, a little somber, but written in a way that’s not going to make you depressed. Maybe a little. Who doesn’t secretly feel a little down from time to time, though?
