Hailing all the way from Mexico City, the Cáceres brothers opened this gem only about a year ago following a well-received six-month courting period at the now-defunct Quarry Farmers & Ranchers Market. The bakery and café seeks to reclaim the cultura of fresh bread with a commitment to only natural ingredients and signature pan. As if serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, aguas frescas and coffee weren't enough, La Panaderia has an almond tequila croissant. Need we say more? All the sweet bread favorites are available, of course, like pan de muerto and conchas (chocolate and vanilla), which are perfectly light and not too sweet.
