Pecha Kucha San Antonio has announced its next event slated for May 31 at 7:30 p.m.
For Volume 22, the San Antonio chapter of this arts and culture series that tasks participants with presenting 20 slides at 20 seconds each on their subject of choice will head to Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair (434 S. Alamo St.).
Presenters include Kristal Cuevas (yogipreneur — best job title ever — of
Southtown Yoga Loft); Armand Fermin (retired Army medic); Peter French (community builder); Omar Gonzalez (director of real estate for Hemisfair); Sam Lerma (filmmaker); Elaine Kearney (landscape architect); Rebel Mariposa (artivist and chef-owner of
La Botanica); and Jeff Moore (cyclist).
Presentations begin at 8:30 p.m., but happy hour kicks off at 7:30 with small bites and a cash bar. Tickets ($5 suggested donation) are available at
pechakucha.org.
