Now here’s a concert/bash that unabashedly celebrates one of the true joys of summer: day drinking. But with an early start and a stacked bill, there’s really nothing not to love about this show, even if drinking is not your thing.
For starters, Nina Diaz will be on hand to rock one of her consistently-unforgettable solo shows. The Lost Project will bring the full band experience via their highly-energetic, ska-tinged alternative rock. And, holding down the motherfucking party, funk-soul-pop act Cadillac Muzik, bonafide pop dynamo Wayne Holtz and mad talented queer rapper Chris Conde (who, full disclosure, writes for the
Current) will also perform.
Buzz or no buzz, this ought to be a blast.
$5, Sat July 14, 3-9pm, The Phantom Room, 2114 N. St. Mary’s St.
