Since the 1970s, few choreographers of modern dance have had more influence than late German icon Pina Bausch. In this 2011 doc, director Wim Wenders takes the audience on a visually stunning journey, following the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch ensemble onto the stage and then into the city and the surrounding areas of Wuppertal — which for 35 years was the home and center for Pina Bausch's creativity.
