RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF SAN ANTONIO TEXAS INC

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of San Antonio will host a "Drive-Thru Holiday Celebration" on Wednesday, December 16, from 6-8 pm. Families are invited to celebrate the holidays in a safe, socially distant drive-thru celebration. The cars will begin at 4803 Sid Katz and continue to the Ronald McDonald house at 4847 Charles Katz. This drive-thru celebration takes the place of the Annual Holiday Dinner. "Our annual holiday party is in its 34th year and has always been a time to reconnect and celebrate with our supporters and the many families that have stayed under our roof. “says Travis Pearson, CEO of the Ronald McDonald House. “While we can’t gather in the same way this year, we still want to continuing celebrating with those we have served and who have supported us.” To help spread a little cheer this holiday season they invite all to drive by and see Mr. & Mrs. Claus and some of their favorite superheroes giving out cookies, and gifts. 2615 Mossrock Dr., (210) 267-5703, facebook.com/dadskaraoke

Slightly sleazy, the bar is a solid option for hours of uninhibited fun for just about anyone, especially first-timers trying to get their feet wet in the art of karaoke. Expect a crowd — or shall we say audience?

The White Rabbit
Look, most San Antonio music fans have no complaints with the Paper Tiger, a club that consistently brings tons of great touring acts to town. Even so, some who cut their teeth on the St. Mary's Strip still have fond memories of the White Rabbit, the venue that previously occupied the building. It's understandable that folks of a certain age, whether they played the older club or just caught shows there, would have some nostalgia tied up in the Rabbit.
