Run the River 5k and Family Fun Run

The Green Spaces Run the River 5k Walk/Run will be held right before the 19th Annual Solar Fest at the same location. The chip-timed races and fun run start on Nueva Street at South Alamo, next to La Villita, follow along the river - while visiting Southtown areas - before circling back in time for the kickoff of Solar Fest. Prizes will be awarded for winning times in several categories. Show your love for Green Spaces Alliance by wearing your green or nature/garden-themed clothing, accessories or costumes in their fun run. This race is family friendly, dog-friendly and race-walker friendly.
