Maya Sokovic may call San Antonio home, but she carries within her memories of her homeland of Serbia, which often appear in her vividly colorful abstract landscapes.
This collection of Sokovic's art draws largely from her latest body of work — "Moments," a series of gentle, abstract paintings in acrylic and pastels that evoke the Danube River and Adriatic Sea — but also includes additional pieces that stretch beyond the blues of bodies of water.
Sokovic will donate 30% of each sale to the San Antonio Symphony, which recently lost 20% of its annual funding from the city.
