SA Artist Spotlight: Tim Olson's Collages and Drawings Evoke Bittersweet Nostalgia

Many of San Antonio artist Tim Olson's drawings and collages possess a quiet nostalgia bordering on melancholy. From studies of birds and his beloved, yet nameless, kitten to assemblages that combine painting, illustration and elements of collage, Olson's pieces capture a bittersweet quality that feels particularly apropos in 2020.
