SACC Kickoff Party at Majestic Theatre

San Antonio Cocktail Conference kicks off with an “over the top” party at the breathtaking Majestic Theatre. What makes this year’s party “over the top?” The installation of flooring over the theatre seats that will substansially expand the total square footage of walking space. The purpose is to open up the party and help guests enjoy a better display of the best that the spirits and chefs have to offer, while creating more room to mix and mingle under the Majestic’s “night sky.” The creative juices will be flowing freely, as will the spirits, as some of the best bartenders in the business showcase their skills with specialty cocktails that range from the clever to the classic. As guests sip, they will be able to snack on the delectable delicacies presented by more than 20 of the city’s finest chefs. It will be a smorgasbord of palate pleasing flavors sure to delight even the most discerning foodie. What sets the SACC apart from other cocktail festivals is that 100 percent of the proceeds are donated to local children’s charities. Over the past three years, that has equated to more than $240,000. This year’s recipients are The Children’s Shelter, ChildSafe, HeartGift San Antonio, and Transplants for Children. All of these nonprofits have made a major impact on the lives of area youth, whether through providing lifesaving surgeries or life changing opportunities.
