San Antonio Artist Adds Indigenous Mural to World Heritage Trail

San Antonio is getting a little more colorful with the public unveiling of a mural this Sunday.

The city of San Antonio, along with San Anto Cultural Arts and District 3 Councilwoman Rebecca Viagran, will host a dedication ceremony for the latest mural part of the World Heritage Corridor Public Art Project.

The piece is titled "Where I End and You Begin" and is the product of local artist Jason Eric Gonzales Martinez. It depicts the natural landscape and indigenous culture of the Missions throughout San Antonio, designated World Heritage sites. And in true fashion of the Missions (and San Antonio in general), the dedication ceremony will include blessing of the mural.

Sunday, November 12, 2-3pm, Mission Parkway at SE Military Underpass.
