San Antonio Beer Festival

Established in 2005, the 13th Annual San Antonio Beer Festival is the largest Beer Festival in San Antonio! This year, the San Antonio Beer Festival will be pouring over 425 premium and craft beers from 125+ breweries. These breweries can be found in our own backyard here in San Antonio to across the world. San Antonio Festival is jam packed with unique casks, one of a kind collaborations, and your favorite porters, stouts, sours, pilsners, ales, wheats, belgians, ciders, and lagers to name a few. Beyond beer, the San Antonio Beer Festival will also feature San Antonio’s coolest DJs, interactive games, wine samples, local food booths, local vendors and more. Experience the beer festival that San Antonio has loved for more than a decade. The San Antonio Beer Festival welcomes everyone 21 and over. We encourage our over 8,000+ attendees to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a beautiful fall day at Dignowity and Lockwood Parks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the San Antonio Food Bank.

Terrell Castle, a.k.a. The Lambermont
Now home to a fancy wedding venue, this historic building was built for the influential Edwin Holland Terrell and fashioned after European castles. The property remained a source of pride until Terrell’s suicide in 1910 after years of suffering with syphilis. Unfortunately, his initial attempt failed, and it took him 10 days to die. Other tragic tales associated with the mansion include a contractor who threw himself from a balcony during construction, and a man who killed his wife and her lover when he caught them in bed together during World War II. Fortunately, the 12,000 square foot building is expansive enough to accommodate plenty of guests, so couples shouldn’t be too worried about ghastly wedding crashers.
