The San Antonio Garden Center is hosting Ernesto Sandoval, manager and curator of the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory, as their July guest speaker. He spends most of his days working closely with plants and people, facilitating interactions between the two. Sandoval runs tours, keeps the greenhouses in order, and shares his knowledge of plant science with visitors.
Ernesto's program is titled: 'The Ins and Outs of Succulents.' This is a visual presentation on the above and below ground needs of plants, including discussion of how pH works and why oxygen matters.
