San Antonio Food Bank in Urgent Need of Donations, Volunteers

Currently in "active disaster response mode" the San Antonio Food Bank is in urgent need of material and monetary donations, as well as volunteers to pack emergency food boxes.

The food bank's most wanted items include non-perishable foods, baby food, diapers and hygiene products. Donations can be taken to the Food Bank,5200 Enrique M. Barrera Pkwy, and monetary donations can be made online at safoodbank.org.



On Friday, the SAFB sent 2,000 meals to two emergency shelters and is preparing 4,000 meals to be delivered to four emergency shelters today.
