If you're a single woman dating in San Antonio, then you might have some thoughts on the pool of men available. Match.com recently released its
2018 Singles in America study, and it turns out that single men here in the 210 are pretty gross.
The dating website's
study surveyed more than 5,000 single guys and gals across the country to get a general outlook on what it's like to date in 2018. In San Antonio, the study found that single men are more likely to "ghost" someone or return as a "zombie" to previous prospects.
Translation: Alamo City men are 60 percent more likely to dip out on you without an explanation, no matter how long y'all have been dating (disappearing like a ghost). Relatedly, someone could ghost you just to return as a "zombie" without shame after cutting off contact. Perhaps like a "Hey stranger" text? San Antonio men are 44 percent more likely to try to re-slide into your DMs.
The only Texas men that are worse are Austinites, who top the lists for ghosting, being a zombie AND breadcrumbing someone (keeping contact with someone despite not being interested in dating). In fact, they're the
worst-behaved men in the entire country.
At least San Antonio men won't lead you on.
