San Antonio Named Top City For Naked Gardening

Are you fan of spending the weekend in the garden? Also enjoy hanging out in the buff? Wish there was a day dedicated to both? Well, you're in luck. Saturday, May 6, is World Naked Gardening Day (yes, it's actually a thing), which is when thousands of nudists and horticulturist around the world head outdoors to spend time in their most comfortable habitat.

Founded in 2005, World Naked Gardening Day was created “to move toward a healthy sense of both body acceptance and our relation to the natural environment."

This year, Lawnstarter ranked the 15 top cities for gardening in the nude in the United States, and guess who came in at No. 12? Yes, that's right, San Antonio. Because of our great May weather, cloudless skies and low humidity, San Antonio is apparently an ideal city for taking it off and getting dirty in the garden. Just be sure to apply the SPF before heading outdoors.
