Coffee drinkers who frequent the vibrant pink façade of Espada Coffee will soon have to find somewhere else to get their caffeine fix. The mobile coffee purveyor will close permanently next Saturday, Oct. 24.

“The last three months have been our busiest ever, but the pandemic has made me reevaluate my personal goals,” a Friday Facebook post read. “Owning a coffee truck just isn’t on the list any more.”

The coffee truck has been slinging java since 2019. It regularly posts up at St. Paul Square and downtown-area climbing gym Armadillo Boulders.
