Santa Claus Spotted in Downtown Austin, Surprisingly Not a Hipster

Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone (though many are probably still eating leftovers), it's time for the next major holiday.

That's right! I'm talking about Hanukkah/Christmas/Ramadan/Kwanzaa!

Up in Austin, the holiday excitement featured a sunglasses-wearing Santa Claus (you win again, Christmas) rolling around the 512 on a mule.

Although it's a surprise that it wasn't a hipster Santa wearing a cardigan and skinny jeans going around on a bicycle. Or kayaking. That would have been perfect.

A meteorologist at KVUE (KENS5's sister station) snapped a video of Santa while making his way down the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail in downtown Austin.

Oh.. just your normal Saturday in downtown. #santaclaus #merrychristmas #downtownaustin
