The San Antonio Police Department has arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a 10-year-old girl on Thanksgiving morning.

Officers arrested 18-year-old Cody Gann Thursday for the murder of Delilah Hernandez on the morning of Nov. 23. According to SAPD, detectives believe the shooting was gang-related and Hernandez was not the intended target.

Hernandez was watching TV in a bedroom when she was shot in the chest. At the time of the shooting, Hernandez's brother said he believed he may have been the target.

According to court documents, Gann has been arrested for robbery and unauthorized use of a vehicle in the past.

Gann was arrested at a hotel in the North West side of San Antonio.
